Akakura Hotel
Located in the centre of Akakura Onsen, Akakura Hotel which was established over 200 years ago is the ideal place to base your stay in Myoko. The hotel is with in walking distance of the ski resort and all the local restaurants and bars. Accomodation Akakura Hotel features a variety of spacious Western, Japanese and Combination Style Rooms. For the duration of your stay you can experience a Japanese Style Room, equipped with traditional Japanese style beds (futons), tatami floor mats, japanese furniture and paper doors. You may also choose to stay in a Western Style Room, featuring a Western style bed and furniture. Lastly, Combination Rooms are available for a full comfortable stay at Akakura Hotel.

Wakui Hotel
2-minute walk away from Akakura Onsen Ski Resort, Akakura Wakui Hotel offers natural hot spring onsen & free Wi-Fi through out the entire hotel. Rooms have a TV, fridge and electric kettle. Traditional tatami rooms are also available with futon bedding. Free luggage and ski storage is available. The hotel is also famous for the large scenery paintings made by Hatsuno Goto who lived until 115 years of age. The hotel is next to the free shuttle service to the Kanko Resort Ski Area. Guests can enjoy Japanese multi-course dinners and delicious breakfasts. Guests without a meal plan who want to eat dinner at the property must make a reservation at time of booking.

Hotel Taizan
Hotel Taizan has a natural hotspring onsen and serves delicious dinners. The hotel is located on the main street of Akakura Onsen so it is in a central position and is close to many restaurants & bars as well as Akakura Onsen ski resort which is only a few minutes walk. In summer the hotel has an outdoor (rotenburo) onsen and a large sports hall for guests to enjoy. In winter these are unavailable. Taizen also has English and Mandarin speaking staff so you can enjoy your stay with no worries.

Akakura Kanko Hotel
Established in 1937, Akakura Kanko Hotel was one of the first pioneer European-style ski resorts in Japan. From its 1,000-meter perch are views of the mountains all around, Lake Nojiri sparkling to the east, and on a clear day all the way to Sado Island across the Sea of Japan. The natural hot springs at Kanko Resort flow directly from the source. The two different mineral hot springs provide unique properties to sooth and invigorate. Today Kanko Resort combines the original old-world tradition with modern amenities and a unique Japanese touch, in one of the most remarkable hotel settings anywhere. The entire Hotel was extensively renovated, keeping its special style while ensuring the highest levels of quality and service. In 2009 the SPA & SUITE Building was constructed and in 2016 the Premium Building was added. You literally ski out the door to the Akakura Onsen Ski Area; with more than 13 meters of snow annually, you’re guaranteed great skiing at this diverse ski area. Enjoy a four-kilometer run from the 1,500-meter-plus top of the hill, or whatever else fits your skills and intersts: powder skiing, bumps, terrain parks, or just fun family cruising. Akakura Kanko is a resort for all seasons: Skiing from late December to mid/end April: golfing at the Hotel’s 18-hole course in spring, summer and fall. Hiking, sightseeing in the area or in nearby Nagano city; wildlife watching; biking and mountain climbing. There's always something to do at the Akakura Kanko Hotel.

Hotel MOC
Our guest rooms provide spectacular views of Mt. Myoko to the west, and Mt. Madarao to the southeast. Both our combination rooms-bringing together Japanese style and Western beds-and twin rooms are bright and soothing. Beds are also available in our twin rooms on both the third and fourth floors. Located only a 1-minute walk from Akakura Kanko Ski Resort, Hotel Moc offers simple accommodations and free Wi-Fi at the lobby. Guests can enjoy snacks and watch DVDs on the flat-screen TV in the shared lounge, or relax in the shared bath after a long day of skiing. The air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Guests can use the free-use washing machine and a coin-operated clothes dryer, and drink vending machines. Ski equipment rental and storage is available, while ski passes can be purchased at the front desk as well. A Japanese or Western set menu is served for breakfast and dinner. With advanced noticed pets can also stay.

Kougakuro
Kougakuro (also spelled Kogakuro) in Myoko Kogen is a Japanese-style ryokan offering traditional hot springs (onsen) and a Japanese-style experience, whilst also providing the convenience of having friendly English speaking staff who can assist with any queries. And unlike most Japanese inns, the hotel has a bar and common area to mingle after skiing or snowboarding, and it serves up the most amazing western buffet breakfasts. Kougakuro is in a very good location at the top of the Akakura Onsen village of Myoko Kogen. It’s just a few minutes walk to the no.8 lift of Akakura Onsen Ski Resort, and you can almost ski back to the hotel, whilst the restaurants of Akakura are just at the end of the driveway.

Akakura Park Hotel
Akakura Park Hotel is a well known Akakura ski hotel in the very heart of Akakura Onsen Ski Village. The exterior reminds you of a Swiss Mountain Chalet, while the interior lets you know you are well and truly in Japan. It is only a four minute walk to the Akakura Onsen lifts from Akakura Park Hotel. It is a medium size hotel with 34 rooms, a mix of Japanese and Western Rooms, many with en-suite facilities. With Japanese, Western and combination rooms (with or without ensuite), find a room to your liking and experience what Myoko Kogen has to offer. The onsen (hot spring baths) are one of the features of this hotel and provide a relaxing end to a day on the ski slopes.

Akakura Central Hotel
Akakura Central Hotel is an older style hotel in Myoko Kogen. It is just a short distance from both Akakura Onsen and Akakura Kanko Ski Resorts. Central Akakura Hotel shares the same neighbourhood as the highly rated local Akakura hotels The Japanese-style guest rooms have Japanese satellite TV and full Western-style bathroom. Facilities available include washer/dryer and internet access (in the lobby) and there is a natural hot spring onsite. It is a short walk from the hotel to the main street of Akakura Onsen where you will find a variety of restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. The restaurant serves traditional Japanese set meals, including sukiyaki, yakiniku and other dishes.

Located on Akakura Onsen main street. Close to souvenir shops and the convenience store. We have a natural hot spring Onsen, and provide a nice breakfast. We also have a restaurant serving various menus from drinks, light meals, and full meals. Free parking available. The lodge is a 5 minute walk from Akakura Onsen Ski Resort. We also have free WiFi throughout the lodge and a free luggage storage service. The rooms have a flat-screen TV with cable channels and electric kettle. Showers are available at the shared bathroom. Extras include slippers and towels. Hot springs bath can be reserved for private use. There is an on-site restaurant and bar at Hunter Lodge. Guests can walk to nearby restaurants, bars and shops all directly outside the lodge. The shuttle bus to Akakura Kanko Resort is outside the lodge. The shuttle bus stop for access to all other ski resorts is only a 4 minute walk away from Lodge Hunter.

Lotte Arai Resort
Located in the city of Myoko, one hour and 46 minutes from Tokyo by bullet train and two hours from Niigata Airport by car, Lotte Arai Resort is nestled among mountainous countryside that spreads scenically from Mt. Hotel Senke

Star Hotel Akakura
The Star Hotel Akakura is centrally located in the Akakura Onsen village just a few minutes walk from the Akakura Onsen ski resort area and provides air-conditioned rooms with Japan’s unique tatami (woven-straw) flooring. It offers a hot-spring bath, Japanese meals and free parking. The hotel is a modern building and is run by a third generation Myoko family who provide warm hospitality in comfortable environment. The hotel’s reception is located on the 4th floor a long with a lounge bar area with free internet access. The rooms are large with twin beds and Japanese tatami matting in most rooms. All the western Japanese rooms have ensuites but some Japanese only rooms have a toilet only. The hotel has a nice view down the main street which is very pretty in winter. There are many popular restaurants within 1-2 minutes walk.

HOTEL KORAKUSO

A.I.R. Myoko
A.I.R. (artist in residence) is a boutique ski chalet, restaurant and gallery, located in Myoko, Japan. In winter we enjoy absolute ski-in ski-out to one of the snowiest mountains in Japan, but we’re not only about snow. Our focus is on the change of seasons throughout the year. This is expressed through great cuisine, art and design. Each year we a invite a select chef, artist and designer/craftsperson to showcase. In doing this, we cultivate community year round and celebrate the region, especially in winter.

Oyado Furuya
Oyado Furuya is pleased to provide our guests with a uniquely Japanese stay in Myoko (“Oyado” basically means a Japanese-style inn). Located right in the center of the main street of Akakura, Myoko’s ski center, Furuya provides quick access on foot to the two major ski resorts in Akakura, and a location close to everything you need, from the shuttle buses to other resorts, to the majority area restaurants and other evening spots. You’ll probably never need to walk more than five minutes (although you may feel like a stroll on a snowy night in downtown Myoko.
